Saturday morning, Kurtis and I set out to walk the show and see what we could see, and oh. my. gosh, did we see some good stuff! This line is probably my favorite from the show. Luxe Designs is totally a company after my own heart! And guess what - they had such a nice bonus to an awesome product line - Emily Adams! We had the pleasure of taking a little booth tour with her, and really, I wanted to just take her (okay, and the whole booth!) back home with me! She was so full of information, truly excited about Luxe, and a joy to talk with. Thanks, Emily!simply_luxe.jpg

The Simply Luxe line is won-der-ful! Simple, graphic and clean designs in gorgeous colors. And the patterned paper. . .it’s so heavy and just right for cards, scrapbooks and alterables, too. I loved that everything came in colors that are easily mixed and matched with other big company lines - ’cause you know we like to do that anyway, right?

Look at those new colors!

And more patterned papers.

And let’s talk ribbon. You know sometimes you want to do something besides hoard ribbon, like maybe use it on a fun fabric project. Or you want to tie the gorgeous patterned ribbon, but the design chips off. Not so with this stuff. Emily told us that it’s garment grade - so wash it, whatever. That stuff is staying beautiful no matter what!

< Of course I had to see what would happen when I dyed it with a Copic marker! Slightly stiffer, but very, very pretty.

Here are some of their fun clear stamps (just look at those borders and the corners, too!) . . . .And new ones that coordinate with their Color Me paper line and calendars.

And rub-ons. Oh my stars. Emily told us that they’ve tried them on clothes (very washable), Crocs, and that even on skin it was tough to remove them. Hmm, sounds like I need to get some! *Love* the colors and designs, and I hear they go on like butter. No need for special tools, just rub ‘em on.

Luxe is close to Maya Road geographically, and they have a great partnership. Maya Road’s done chipboard letters in the Luxe fonts - and Luxe has diecuts to go right on ‘em.

Don’t you just love this project made with their *stuff*?

Hope you enjoyed a little peek into the Luxe Designs booth. With that, I’ll leave you. . . ’cause I need to do some shoppin’. . . all of this talk makes me want some of my own!
